Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data is collected on this website, why, and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Data collected

Contact form

When you write to us through the form, we receive your email address (required), your name and project type (optional) and your message. This data is used only to respond to your enquiry and discuss your project with you.

• Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request and the studio’s legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Retention: as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then no more than 3 years after our last exchange, unless a business relationship begins.

Bot protection

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyses technical information (IP address, browser characteristics) to tell humans from bots. This data is not used for advertising. Legal basis: legitimate interest in securing the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Audience measurement

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand website traffic (page views, countries, device types). This tool sets no cookies, uses no persistent identifier and cannot identify you or track you across other websites.

Technical logs

Like any hosting provider, Cloudflare processes visitors' IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the website against attacks.

Recipients and processors

Your data is intended for the studio team. It is never sold or shared. We use the following providers:

• Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, bot protection (Turnstile), audience measurement;
• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France): delivery of form messages to our mailbox;
• Google (Google Workspace): the studio’s email.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, notably in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

This website sets no advertising or audience measurement cookies, so no consent banner is needed.

• When you change language with the FR / EN selector, a lang cookie remembers your choice for one year. It is used only to display the website in the language you chose and is exempt from consent.
• Cloudflare Turnstile may set a technical cookie strictly necessary for the security of the form, which is exempt from consent.
• The Google Maps map is only loaded if you click "Show map". Google may then set its own cookies, governed by its privacy policy.
• Fonts are hosted on this website: no connection is made to a third-party service to display them.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, email us at contact@emphase-audio.fr. We will reply within one month.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France.
